The Restoration Nest

The Restoration Nest was built in December 2004 by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Restoration Nest is a spacious bi-level structure tucked away in the secluded beauty of the Catskill mountainside of Fallsburg, New York, within walking distance of the Neversink River. Restoration Nest serves to provide rest, spiritual renewal and the rekindling of the marital covenant.

This ministry headquarters also serves as a haven for Pastoral and leadership couples to come and set themselves apart to receive from the Lord. Understanding the need for time away from the great demands of ministry, Restoration Nest provides for a time of personal refreshing. This rustic atmosphere invites those who visit to see God’s craftsmanship on earth and in their lives.

A PLACE OF ABUNDANT REST 
  Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: Psalm 37:7.
 
  When the days grow dark and gray,
Some may at the close of the day,
  Throw in the towel and start whining.
But he is found the best
  Who leans on the Savior’s breast,
Who in every burden is found reclining.
 
  And he is greater still 
  Who submits unhesitatingly to the Master’s will,
  Who in the midst of the darkest sorrow,
  Though he may utterly fall,
  Knows he may cast on Him his all, 
  And find sufficient strength for every tomorrow.

  And though the day may come when his heart will break,
  And though it may seem that all friends forsake,
  There is a place of abundant rest,
  A place where the weak are made strong,
  A place where the faint are given a song,
  And find in Christ a refuge as a bird in its nest.
